Argentina is the second biggest producer of soya in the world. This crop occupies 55% of the area agriculturally used and, through its sales on international markets,generates almost 30% of the foreign currency inflows into Argentina. But not everything that glitters is made of gold: The soya boom is the source of new and massive wealth for a minority while at the same time causing poverty and uprootedness for a great number of people. The expansion of the agricultural border has put the possession of land by farmers who work and legitimately live on these grounds at danger This is the fight of the Farmers movement of Cordoba.
"RR-the bitter harvest" is an independent documentary film from Argentina, which has enjoyed great acceptance from its viewers and which has been screened at a variety of international festivals already.
